When someone dies, the church is here for you. Our ministers and preachers take funerals in our churches, at the crematorium and at the graveside, for church members and for anyone in our communities who asks.
There is no charge for the minister's time and care, and you do not need to have any connection with the church.
Most families arrange the service through their funeral director, who will contact us on your behalf. You are also very welcome to telephone us yourself.
Whoever leads the service will visit you beforehand to listen, to learn about the person who has died and to shape a service that is true to them. Hymns, music, readings and tributes are all yours to choose.
Grief does not end with the funeral. Our churches offer quiet company, a listening ear and, where it helps, an annual service of remembrance. There is no expectation that you will come to church, and no hurry.
If you would like to talk to someone, please contact us.
Whether you are looking for a church, arranging a baptism, a wedding or a funeral, or simply want to talk to someone, we would be glad to hear from you.
Faith, welcome and community across the Waveney valley and the East Suffolk coast.
