Caring for creation across the Circuit

Caring for creation is not a side project for the church. It runs straight through what we believe about God, about our neighbours and about the people who come after us.

Our churches are working through the Eco Church scheme, which looks at five areas of church life: worship and teaching, buildings, land, community engagement and the everyday choices we all make.

Small things, done properly

Not every church can install a heat pump. Every church can let a corner of the churchyard grow long through the summer, switch to a renewable electricity tariff, fix the draughts, and think twice before heating a large building for a small meeting.

In a part of the world this low lying, with the sea on one side and the marshes on the other, none of this is abstract.
